How to take ibuprofen:

- The initial dosage of ibuprofen for tooth pain is one tablet of 200mg.
- Then the patient can take one tablet of ibuprofen every 4 hours if needed.
- In case the effect is not sufficient then patient takes two tablets (400 mg) of ibuprofen. Ibuprofen is very useful for tooth pain.
Ibuprofen can increase of fatal heart attack or stroke, especially if you use it long term or take high doses, or if you have heart disease. Do not use this medicine just before or after heart bypass surgery.
Do not take more than your recommended dose. Overdose can damage stomach or intestines.
